Falling for Fabric

One of our all-time favorite fabrics is the Scalamandre classic Edwin's Covey, 70% linen, 30% cotton.  We are always thrilled to find a place to use it.  Elegant but warm, it cozies up to stripes, checks, paisleys, handsome guys in riding boots and English Setters.

We love the Multi on Mustard colorway.  A bit shy about pictures, it is actually much more vibrant in person.

It is also available in Multi on White

Multi on Willow

Multi on London Blue

and Multi on Sisal.  Do you have a faithful go-to fabric that still makes your heart sing after years and years?

I have always loved that fabric and that ad! I must find a spot for it in my house...even if only a pillow or two. Thanks for reminding me of this classic!

Oh, I know! Isn't it divine?
Linen florals make my heart sing and this old Scalamandre is a favourite.

Absolutely! Fabrics may come and fabrics may go, but Edwin's Covey on union cloth is a classic and has been one of the company's best sellers since it was issued. The pattern was also reinterpreted several years ago on 100% linen faced antique-cut velvet in the Mustard colorway.

Top fabric....on a custom made large ottoman in our living room...with tigers and lions, I forget who makes it but we adore it! :)

Love Edwins Covey, such a timeless classic. Had it in my old house and thinking of using it again, why change a good thing!
