Christmas Past

2009
Each year in Middleburg, Virginia, the Christmas season begins the first Saturday in December with a parade through the center of town.  In 2009, it snowed!

That has to be the most elegant parade in America! In the snow, it would be a worthy subject for Childe Hassam. I'm a great fan of his work. I would imagine you've spent a fair amount of time in the Reuter's Red Fox Fine Art. They are the most wonderful and knowledgeable people, and true keepers of the flame.
Best,
Liz

Yes! There isn't a picture there that I wouldn't want to take home!
