I love this Anthropologie mural wallpaper. Have any of you tried it yet? I would be very interested to hear about your experience with it. This would be a spectacular solution for a foyer, hallway, bedroom or above a chair rail in any number of spaces, if it indeed works.
A roll is 144" x 108" and covers 60.75 square feet. It has a Sure-strip backing so it can be applied without paste and is apparently, easily removable.
What do you think?

love the wallpaper...and would be very interested to hear if it's easy to install as it sounds.
I've been mesmerized by the spread in Arch Digest of Brooke Shields' apt.
Her dining room has a high end wallpaper that's similar. I'm obsessed with it. Would make a great 'hi lo' post! Here's the link:

I was equally intrigued when I saw it posted on someone's blog a week ago. The distant view is lovely but I was doubtful whether it would look good up close. In any case, I just went to Anthropologie website and found this review by someone who actually installed it:
No, I do not recommend this product.I wish it didn't make me dizzy,
Posted February 13, 2012 "Be warned, my friends, as wonderful as this mural is, it is best from afar. The crosshatching made my husband and I feel sick and dizzy so we are having a terrible time trying to find an appropriate place for it - if there is one. We may have to paint a wash over it to calm down the graphic movement. Maybe it will make a beautiful closet..."

Hi Serena, thanks for the link. That is fantastic mural paper!
Donna and Designers Muse, Interesting, so it seems as if this might be best in a spot where one could get far enough away from it to take it all in without pixillation.
I love this wallpaper.....thanks for sharing. Wonder if they have it at the store?
That's wonderful! As a renter, finally something temporary that's not too contemporary!
Hello:
The mural wallpaper does look to be quite fun but we rather suspect that it may be at its best when viewed from a distance rather than at close quarters. We have toyed for some time with having our Hall painted with a trompe l'oeil effect but would rather it was hand painted than on a roll. For a temporary trompe l'oeil fix, however, the wallpaper is a fun idea!

Hi Jane and Lance, I imagine you're right about that. Reggie Darling is one of my absolute favorites!!! Some treats in store are more posts from Parker, and more about the exciting goings-on this spring at Poplar Grove. I'm so glad you came over! Nina
