I fell in love with these cufflinks from Rebecca Ray as soon as I saw them.  

I would wear them with a blue and white striped French cuff shirt and jeans, tucked into brown riding boots, and a long-ish suede vest

or maybe some comfy, soft, frayed khaki pants.  Of course, they would add discreet country charm to a man's traditional gray or navy suit, if your work calls you into town.
